I am looking for some information about ringworms because my father is suffering from it and I want to get some practical things that we could do for a treatment. As per Wikipedia, ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin in humans. Fungi are organisms that survive by eating plant or animal material. Those that cause parasitic infection (dermatophytes) feed on keratin, the material found in the outer layer of skin, hair, and nails. These fungi thrive best on skin that is moist, hot, and hidden from the light. It is estimated that up to twenty percent of the population is infected by ringworm or one of the other dermatophytoses at any given moment. I guess that made my father a statistic of this particular skin disease. In some sites, it was said that it can be treated topically with antifungal agents such as terbinafine 1% cream (Lamisil) applied twice daily until symptoms resolve (usually within two weeks). Terbinafine is not recommended for children under 2 years old or anyone with impaired hepatic function. Systemically with oral medications, especially for scalp ringworm or infection of the fingernails or toenails.

Then after this, I will look for some automatic watch winders and a humidor for cigars to buy as a gift for my auntie and uncle’s 25th anniversary of marriage.
