I’m currently looking for some Rome hotels to stay at because I, together with some of my friends will be going there in the middle of the year, or at least provided the economy doesn’t get worse than it currently is. We always wanted to go there and I believe this has been like five years in the making and this time, we will all make sure that we will push through with the plan. There seems to be a raincloud floating over the plan because every time we had the opportunity to go to Rome, there is always something happening that has kept us from going. Like one time, we were supposed to go but a week before the trip, I met an accident and had to have my right arm casted.

The other time my friend all of a sudden got pregnant and she can’t take plane rides because she was having a very delicate case. One thing about Rome, we always wanted to go to and see the traces of the Roman Empire and the museums that they have in there. All of us seemingly got captivated by the wonders of the capital city of Italy, and the main reason why we wanted to go there is to be able to eat spaghetti in an old school, Italian fashion.

I was assigned to find a place for our family to have some spiritual retreats for all of us and I was really thinking where we could go. I was checking out some information about some places when I saw some interesting facts about Ringing Cedars (refers to a book about our connection to nature) and found out that there is a Ringing Cedars Series that contains some of the most important revelations to appear in thousands of years of human history, which are so significant, they are changing the course of our destiny and rocking scientific and religious circles to the core. I thought this is a good thing to have in our spiritual retreat along with Shamanism (refers to being a partnership with nature to heal people) to make our experience complete. I was thinking, maybe we could go to Sedona in Arizona, since the place is known for its spiritual vortices and most people go there for spiritual pursuits through its hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails. I guess all I need now is to prepare everything and start contacting some hotels in there for us to stay, and check out some offers that they might be able to give us.

I seemingly have a fascination with Asheville because I can’t stop looking for information about it. I found out that Asheville was a primitive outpost in 1797. Frontiersmen such as Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett traveled through in the early days. Asheville was little more than a crossroads of Indian trails on a plateau surrounded by mountains and rivers on all sides. The railroad transformed Asheville and Buncombe County into a resort and therapeutic health center when it arrived in 1880. Asheville became a Mecca for visitors searching for a mountain escape, its population climbing to nearly 30,000 seasonal residents in 1890. Something that I guess most Asheville private community doesn’t know.

Asheville also had no money to invest in urban renewal projects that were so popular in other cities following Black Monday. The magnificent buildings built during the boom years were spared the bulldozer as a result of Asheville commitment to repay its debt. This is why Asheville is a snap shot of what an American boomtown looked like during the turn of the century. It isn’t unusual to find quaint mom and pop shops in elegant surroundings. Anyway, enough about trivia, I think I should try to see if I could get a real estate in Asheville so I could live in there for good. –>

My grandfather was chatting with me yesterday via messenger and he was telling me how great his handicap scooters are. Well, he has two of them for some reason and he doesn’t want to let go of the older one because he said it has sentimental value to him. Anyway, he bored me to death by describing his disability scooters. He said his scooters have seats over two rear wheels, a flat area for his feet, and handlebars in front to turn one or two steerable wheels. The seats swivel to allow access when the front is blocked by the handlebars.

Mobility scooters are usually battery powered. A battery or two is stored on board the scooter and is charged via an onboard or separate battery charger unit from standard electric power. Gasoline-powered scooters are also available, though they are rapidly being replaced by electric models. But since he has two of the types, he has no problem with it because he could either go battery powered or gasoline powered anytime he wants. Then I got him busted with his descriptions because I saw everything in Wikipedia and I told him to stop copying stuff from the internet just so he could tell me what he has. It could have been easier if he just gave me the link… sheesh! –>

In France, one can find the striking city of Paris, known as the city of love. There are just so many remarkable things that can be found in this city, one being the well-known Eiffel Tower, which is known by numerous people as one of the wonders of the world. And don’t forget to check out another amazing structure that is found in Paris, the Arc de Triumphe. The Cathedral of Notre Dame will not disappoint you. If time permits, the beaches of France are some of the most beautiful in the entire world.

In Europe, Paris is considered as the most romantic place ever, not only in the continent, but also in the whole world. Many people have their own definition why it is the most romantic place. Some says it is because the French language is the sexiest sounding language ever, some says it is because of the food that they have, while others say it is because of the sites and sceneries. A lot of different comments from different people from all parts of the world, but personally, I can only describe it in one line since it is considered as the most romantic place in the world…

Never, EVER pop your facial zits. Ever. Or any other zits on any other places in your body at all. It is crucial to the permanence of you face, your youthful beauty.

For one, when you pop your zits, the bacteria does come out, but the wound inflicted so suddenly by you never heals properly because the face is rather sensitive and heals rather poorly. And they end becoming ugly, permanent marks on your skin. So when you pop you facial zits, it would be the same as stabbing your face with a pen. Plus, when popping zits, your hands may be dirty and that will only cause more pimples for you. And you do not want that, no you do not.

It’s better to start using acne solutions or acne products and applying them regularly onto your face. But remember that your face must be clean when you apply products on it, or it is going to have a bad result. Also refrain from touching your face. And when sweating, do not let it dry; wipe it away with oil films. And sleeping early is a very, very helpful factor getting rid of acne.

So, remember, zit-popping is a definite no-no. –>

Europe never fails to fascinate me as it seems to always have something new whenever I visit the continent. Just about all destinations in Europe have something different to offer. From the sites and sceneries, to the activities in Europe, it seems to be endless and there are always tons of things that we could do. One thing that amazed the most is their tour using bikes. I was surprised at first when they told me that we will be touring using bicycles and I thought they were just joking. When we were already in the tour, I found out that it is actually a great experience since you get to see more compared to riding a vehicle. You get to concentrate a lot in the sites and sceneries since you are moving slow and everything is within the reach of the eyes. Another good way to have a tour is via the coastlines of Europe. Since the continent is surrounded by seas and oceans, touring on water is highly recommendable. The coastlines are really to die for as it gives serenity and full satisfaction to all who could see it. Indeed, Europe is one of the best places on Earth that everyone would surely love. –>

A lot of people wanted to go to Europe due to the continent’s rich history and culture, but then again, most of them don’t know where to start. Europe, as we all know, is a big continent, consisting of lots of countries, which basically made it hard to choose what place you would want to visit. People have their own definitions of the top 10 must see in Europe but personally, I think the best four would be Paris France, which is basically known as the city of love and the home the Eiffel tower. London, England is another place to be when visiting Europe due to its many different cultures, great entertainment and so much history. Next is the city of Rome in Italy, which is one of the largest cities in the continent. Rome is a culturally rich city that has hundreds of historical sites to enjoy, perfect for historians and travelers alike. The fourth one is Lisbon, Portugal. Lisbon and Portugal are beautiful and they offer extensive countryside to the south and beautiful beaches on all of its coasts. Those sites are what I believe, the places to die for. If you’ll be visiting Europe, make sure that you go to at least one of those four places.

I always dream to be articulate in all of the languages available in the world. I’m Chinese and was born in the Philippines. Culturally, I inherited most of the language one can consider useful and can easily be understood by the many. During my early age, I was able to grasp the different languages offered by our school curriculum. It ranges from Filipino, English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Fokien. I was lucky that I was able to expose myself with most of the courses available in school which makes it easier to interact with the different races in our country. However, my passion of learning doesn’t stop from there. Now that I’m all grown-up, I feel that my equity in the business I decided to venture on would greatly increase when I learn how to speak other languages aside from what I’ve been accustomed of.

Different European Languages, this is one project I aim to achieve. I consulted multiple website in the net and managed to find some interesting articles that will help my cause. I learned that Europe is segmented into 3 Indo-European languages, the Roman languages derived from the Latin language of the Roman Empire; the Germanic languages, which originated from Scandinavia; and the Slavic languages. Roman languages are often being used in the south-west of Europe as well as in Romania. Germanic languages are spoken North-west of Europe and some identified parts of Central Europe. Slavic languages are being used in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe.

After researching the roots of Europe, the scope of this language sounded very complicated. Oh well, a person is free to dream right?
